Games can crash. A power outage can ruin your data. Making a copy of your file keeps your progress safe.

The game relies heavily on auto-saves at the start of each in-game day. This design means a bad day can permanently overwrite a previously successful run. Manual backups protect your progress. Navigate to the Saves folder using the path listed above. Copy the entire Saves folder.

The developers added official cloud save support in March 2023.
