The NSPCC has received growing numbers of calls from distressed children as young as 13 who have been victims of AI undressing tools. The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children reported that children have had fake images of themselves shared online or received threats that they would be, and the child protection charity has warned that the proliferation of these tools is putting young people at serious risk.
