I Spit On Your Grave 3 Lk21 -

The 2010 remake, starring Sarah Butler as Jennifer Hills, modernized the story for a new generation. It was followed by I Spit on Your Grave 2 (2013), which featured a different protagonist and was set in Bulgaria, receiving mixed reactions from fans. Then came I Spit on Your Grave III: Vengeance Is Mine (2015), which returned to Sarah Butler’s Jennifer Hills, ignoring the events of the second film entirely.

Throughout her journey, Jennifer is aided by Oscar (Doug McKeon), an older man whose daughter committed suicide after being sexually assaulted. Together, they hunt down the men who destroyed her child’s life. The film culminates in a violent confrontation with Detective McDylan (Gabriel Hogan), a police investigator who has been tracking the murders. Ultimately, Oscar takes the blame for the killings and dies, allowing Jennifer to walk free—though she remains under police surveillance.

The original film in the series, titled Day of the Woman (1978), was directed by Meir Zarchi. Zarchi was inspired to create the film after he encountered a victim of a brutal sexual assault and was disgusted by the insensitive treatment she received from the police.
