From the very beginning, Los Gardelitos carved a unique path. Driven by a philosophy of "rock sudaka" and unwavering solidarity, they chose to play for free for over fifty Sundays in Buenos Aires' Parque Centenario, refusing to negotiate with major record labels for the sake of commercial convenience. They sold the family van and rotisserie to finance their first demo, "Rock Sudaka". Their commitment to social causes led them to perform in women's prisons, the Borda neuropsychiatric hospital, and impoverished villas, making them true band of the people.
