Recently, the developer (known only by the handle @odougu_soft ) dropped a surprise update – tagged by the community as the (short for Odougu Update ). The patch adds new routes, expanded dialogue, and most importantly, deeper lore into the relationship between the narrator (“me”) and the gentle, slightly clumsy teacher, Ayumichan.
Many fans are particularly anxious about the “cannot be closed again” warning. Some speculate that one of the tools will allow “me” to talk to Ayumichan as an adult — possibly breaking the fourth wall if she realizes she’s fictional.
