Version 1.19g relies entirely on older K-Line diagnostics. It will not function with standard CAN-Bus only adapters or high-end HEX-V2 interfaces unless they have dedicated K-Line pass-through routing configured.
Head to the official FTDI Chip Drivers Page and download the latest Virtual COM Port (VCP) drivers.
