The story of Laal Lihaaf revolves around Kusum (played by Sneha Paul), a woman trapped for eight long years in a cold, loveless marriage. Her husband, Mahesh (Manish Mishra), ignores her emotional and physical intimacy needs due to his own eccentric and freakish personal fantasies. Seeking solace and a release for her long-withheld passions, Kusum begins a secret relationship with her domestic helper, Lata (Shalini Sahay).
