Sometimes the simplest tricks work wonders. Network filters often blacklist domains by specific ports. HTTP uses port 80, while HTTPS uses port 443. If one is blocked, the other might be open. By simply adding an "s" to "http" in a URL or removing it, you can sometimes force a connection through the unblocked port.
