The meter’s real‑time clock can be synchronised either to the AC mains frequency (which corrects for small drifts) or to an internal crystal oscillator. When mains frequency deviates by more than ±5% of nominal, the meter automatically switches to crystal mode. After reprogramming, always verify the time and date.
